Chicago has averaged 49 murders and 124 shootings per month in 2025. Maybe that’s why Mayor Brandon Johnson is so unpopular with his voters. He’s the only mayor in America whose approval rating has dipped into single digits multiple times.
Johnson has decided that it’s his duty to keep things awful in Chicago. The Trump administration started carrying out immigration raids on September 9th in the Windy City. So far, they’ve arrested more than 1,500 child molesters, murderers, and drug cartel terrorists.
The mayor’s response to this was to make a bizarre and defiant announcement this week that federal immigration laws no longer apply in Chicago. He’s setting up ICE-free zones in the city, where immigration raids are supposedly not going to take place.
Brandon Johnson seems to think that—as a mayor—he somehow has the power to override federal law. He’s announcing this so that he can provide legal cover for foreign terrorists in groups like MS-13 and Tren de Aragua.
That’s the literal definition of treason. So, the question is, why hasn’t Attorney General Pam Bondi arrested Brandon Johnson yet? He is providing aid and comfort to a foreign enemy that is at war with the American people. Arrest him already!
