Donald Trump created one of the most amazing coalitions that has ever carried a Republican candidate to the presidency. He set record-high numbers among black and Hispanic voters and young people.
One of those groups testified at a House Judiciary subcommittee this week to talk about why they supported President Trump in record numbers.
Danielle Carter-Walters is the vice president of the grassroots group ‘Chicago Flips Red.’ It’s a coalition of black voters in Chicago who demanded that their leaders stop destroying Chicago by rolling out the red carpet for illegal aliens.
You may recognize Carter-Williams from last year when videos of her ripping into Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson went viral.
The subcommittee hearing was designed to highlight the way that the Democrats’ sanctuary city policies are destroying America’s greatest cities. Brandon Johnson and the state’s corpulent governor, JB Pritzker, did everything they could during the Biden regime to make black Chicago residents suffer even more.
Illegal aliens devoured city services for four years straight in Chicago, always to the detriment of the city’s poorest black families. The policy was so destructive that Trump increased his vote total among black Chicago voters to 22% in 2024, up from 12% in 2020.
Trump even won the 41st Ward in Chicago—a historic first for any Republican candidate.
It must have caused major cognitive dissonance among the Democrats in the subcommittee hearing when Mr. Carter-Williams testified. They just can’t fathom why they lost so much of the black vote in 2024. Watch:

Their policies make our cities and streets less safe.
