CBS Caught Spinning ICE Story: The Untold Truth

If you just glanced at the headlines this week, you’d think ICE agents in Florida dragged a poor, innocent U.S. citizen out of her car for no reason. That’s the version CBS News ran with—complete with dramatic video and zero context. But as usual, the part they left out flips the whole story on its head.

Here’s what really happened: A woman in Key Largo was stopped by federal agents. She refused to roll down her window or hand over her driver’s license. CBS calls her a “U.S. citizen” and ran with the outrage. What they didn’t mention? She was driving a car registered to her boyfriend—an illegal immigrant. And word is, she was trying to protect him by refusing to cooperate.

So let’s get this straight: A woman refuses a lawful order from federal officers, gets detained, and the media frames it like ICE kicked down her door in the middle of the night. Classic. What CBS also ignored is that in Florida, you’re legally required to give your ID and comply with officers during a stop. Doesn’t matter who you are.

Meanwhile, this media-manufactured sob story comes just days after two National Guard soldiers were ambushed in D.C.—one killed, one fighting for his life. But you won’t see CBS burning up airtime for them.

Instead, we get another round of “ICE bad, lawbreakers good.” At some point, the left’s love affair with chaos has to stop. They’re teaching people that rules don’t matter, that if you cry loud enough, the facts don’t exist.

People aren’t buying it. Social media torched CBS for leaving out the key details. One user said it best: “Play stupid games…”
