Cardi B Says She’s Fleeing the Country to Escape Trump Following Tensions with Iran

Female rapper Cardi B wasted no time after President Trump ordered the airstrike that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani to express herself.

When memes and other posts on Twitter began to pop up expressing concerns about the conflict between the US and Iran, Cardi weighed in to express her distaste for the President.

First she tweeted, “Naaaaa these memes are f—in [emojis] but s— ain’t no joke! Specially being from New York.”

Huh? Does anyone else need a translator?

Then the 27-year-old claimed Trump made the U.S. a target for Iran by ordering Soleimani death, tweeting, “It’s sad this man is putting Americans live in danger. Dumbest move Trump did till date …I’m filing for my Nigerian citizenship.”

A Nigerian official responded to Cardi B’s tweet to let her know she would receive a hero’s welcome in his country. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chair of the Nigerians In Diaspora Commission and a former member of the Nigeria Federal House of Representatives tweeted, “As one in charge of the Diaspora for Ngr, We can’t wait to receive you again. Our doors are open, sister.”

Cardi follows a long line of left-wing celebrities who have vowed to leave the US if Trump sat in the oval office. One celebrity, Cher, even vowed to leave the planet if Trump was elected! Needless to say Cardi and all these celebrities vowing to exit the country are still enjoying the safety of their US citizenship.
