With Joe Biden looking like a worse and worse candidate by the hour, the Democrats are DOUBLING DOWN on their attempts to imprison Donald Trump – giving a big middle finger to the Supreme Court in the process.
The court recently ruled in a 6-3 decision that presidents – including Donald Trump – are immune from prosecution for official acts they carried out as president.
This of course SHOULD have shut down virtually every bit of lawfare the Democrats are waging against Trump but the vile leftists are DESPERATE so they’re refusing to let that happen.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is not only crying about the SCOTUS decision, he’s promising to undo it.
Why? Because imprisoning Donald Trump is the ONLY hope that the Democrats have of remaining in power.
Schumer declared the Court was wrong to grant Trump “a breathtaking level of immunity.”
He went on to claim that the court had “effectively placed a crown on Donald Trump’s head” which made no sense considering this ruling applied to ALL former presidents.
Nevertheless, Schumer announced that he has a plan that will allow the Democratic party to skirt the court ruling and guarantee Trump can be prosecuted.
Schumer and co. will work to classify Trump’s acts on January 6 as “unofficial” to strip him of immunity from the made-up crime of orchestrating an insurrection that the Democrats have been trying to pin on him.
If the Democrats worked half as hard to fix America as they do trying to stop Donald Trump from doing exactly that, then we’d be looking at a very different country right now…
