A far-left writer has called for parenthood to be abolished so that we can achieve equity. He writes that any children rich people birth should be given to homeless neighbors or to the state due, in part, to compounding privilege over generations. He also makes sure to mention white supremacy and “outdated gender norms,” according to a new Pay Gray report from The Blaze.
You might think this is a joke, but it’s not. There are some people leftists so radicalized with liberalism that they are ready to “abolish parenthood.” Worse, the claims were made in the op-ed section of a Ventura County Star publication in, you guessed it, left coast California.
Gray also pointed out the publication is owned by Gannett, the largest newspaper company in the country. The article was also shared by Yahoo on its news section.
The writer, Joe Matthews, is co-president of the Global Forum on Modern Direct Democracy. He says parenthood prevents “true equity” because fathers and mothers with greater wealth and education are more likely to transfer those advantages to their children.
