With the help of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), California has now officially banned the sale of ALL new gas vehicles and if they get their way, your state could be next.
The EPA approved California’s Advanced Clean Cars II rule, which puts into effect a ban on new gas-powered vehicles being sold after 2035.
Under the 1970 Clean Air Act, states are required to get a waiver from the EPA if they wish to enact more strict standards than those set forth by the EPA, which notably, are already incredibly strict.
With the approval, California will now spend the next 10 years ensuring that their residents are unable to purchase gas vehicles come 2035.
By 2026, 35% of all new cars sold in the state will be required to be “zero-emission.” By 2030 that number will jump to 68% and by 2035 it will increase to 100%.
California has more than 27 million licensed drivers but just over 1.25 million registered electric vehicles. The decision to force all these people to adopt EVs is not just incredibly tyrannical but it’s also downright stupid.
The state’s obsession with “clean energy” has led it to have one of the weakest electrical grids in the entire country, with rolling blackouts that leave tens of thousands of residents without power during times of “peak demand.”
What do you think will happen when they force 25.75 million EVs to tap into that already vulnerable power grid?
This is a disaster waiting to happen but if it were up to the Democrats, every state in the country would look like this!
Watch the video here to see the state’s imbecile of a governor bragging about this rule change.
NEW: All gas car sales will be banned in the state of California by 2035, thanks to the Biden administration's new approval.
The new rule will pave the way over the next 10 years to ensure that every car sold in the state is electric.
