In case anybody thought there was hope for California yet, the state of far-left radicals just reminded us all exactly WHY we’d be better off if they just formed their own country at this point.
The communist state legislature just approved a bill to allocate $800 billion for slavery reparations. That’s more than 2.5 times the state’s annual budget.
The genius initiative was originally hatched up the state’s reparations task force which came up with the bright idea of paying every black resident $360,000.
Here’s the hilarious part.
That task force? It was made up of eight black members and one Asian member. California as a state has never even practiced slavery and the people who will receive payments were never even remotely close to being enslaved.
Truthfully, it’s just a massive communist sham designed to redistribute the wealth of rich Californians to minorities.
But hang on – it gets better.
The MAJORITY of the state’s population, 55% is made up of Latino and Asians. The mind-numbingly stupid Democrats of California are making non-black minorities pay for reparations to get revenge against White slave owners.
You really can’t make this stuff up.
On top of all of that, California already doesn’t have enough money to pay their bills. They’re currently dealing with a multi-billion dollar budget deficit and it certainly doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon…
