CA City Votes to Side with Trump Administration against Sanctuary City Designation

It’s easy to lump all Californians in with the vocal extremists. The state has been so backwards for so long that we forget reasonable, everyday Americans still live within the borders. This isn’t just a few fringe people who refuse to move to better lands, either. Let’s remember that 4.5 million Californians voted for Trump in the last election. They may be a measurable minority, but there is a large and impactful conservative presence within the state.

This becomes important every time California decides that it should be the final arbiter of American law, instead of the federal government. We’ve seen this in their restriction of the 2nd Amendment. It’s made apparent every time the 9th Circuit gets to rule on a divisive issue. And, we can witness it in full force in regards to the state’s treatment of immigration issues.

The California governor has repeatedly defied federal law. He has tried to declare the entire state a place of sanctuary for illegal immigrants, and he has made cooperation with ICE punishable by state law. This is open rebellion, and the U.S. should not tolerate it. Still, we need to remember that a huge contingent within the state opposes the governor and his radicalism. Now, cities throughout the region are taking visible action to resist Jerry Brown and the liberal majority.

This video is on the ground level of the resistance. You can see exactly how conservative Californians are fighting back and winning. If you need a reminder that good people exist everywhere, this is the video to watch.
