Everything the media has told you about the border crisis is a lie. It starts with the word “crisis.” They are still denying that we have a border problem. Sure, they’ll say there’s a humanitarian crisis that was created by Republicans, but they won’t acknowledge that 150,000 illegal crossing in May was more than our resources could handle.
Speaking of blaming Republicans, let’s set that record straight too. Yes, Republicans had majority on both sides of Congress and the Presidency, but the lack of border security and funding isn’t their fault. You need a two-thirds majority to get funding through the Senate, and the Democrats stonewalled every single bill that included even a single dollar of border funding.
Now that they control the House, funding border security is completely off the table. Megalomaniacs like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are screaming that they won’t give border agencies a single dollar while condemning overcrowding and underfunding. This is literally the situation we’re in.
Of course, the true root of the problem is immigration law. Democrats have been lying about immigration and undermining our sovereignty since Ronald Reagan was still in the White House. This crisis is the inevitable result.
