Brazil Rejects $20 Million Aid Package for Amazon Fires

Do you remember the story of Chicken Little? Something fell on his head, and he was convinced that the sky is falling. If we were to retell this classic fable in a modern setting, it would involve a bunch of SJWs taking to the internet to tell us that the Amazon is burning.

It was everywhere on social media, and even the New York Times debunked the claims. In the face of overwhelming proof that the Amazon is in fact not burning, the far left doubled down, because of course they did.

Keep in mind that the modern Chicken Little is real world leaders, including Canada’s Justin Trudeau and France’s Emmanuel Macron. They, along with other members of the G7, got together to condemn the president of Brazil for allowing and even encouraging the burning of the Amazon. They even offered him $20 million to fight the fires.

When Bolsonaro rejected that offer, you have to understand the bigger context. The Amazon isn’t on fire. There are some fires in Bolivia, but that happens every year. When you consider the size of the Amazon, a few brush fires is expected.

In reality, the fires decried by the left are part of the annual agricultural cycle. Farmers burn their fields in order to replenish the topsoil. This has happened for decades, and it isn’t causing any damage to the Amazon rainforest.

This sky-is-falling routine is entirely political. The far-left, like Trudeau and Macron, dislike Bolsonaro because he’s patriotic and conservative. He won’t let his country be disrespected. That’s all this is. The socialists in the world hate that he’s moving Brazil away from their rule and back towards freedom. It’s all in the video.
