Border Czar Tom Homan was reportedly told by President Trump that the rate of deportations is going too slowly thus far. By the end of Trump’s first week in office, deportations had gradually increased to 1,300 per day. Homan has now directed ICE and the Border Patrol to step up their operations further, increasing the rate to 1,800 per day.
While that sounds great, it’s still far short of the 5,500+ per day that the Eisenhower administration managed in the 1950s.
President Trump campaigned on a promise to enact the largest deportation operation in American history. So far, they’re not even halfway there.
Things should start to pick up now that more resources are being thrown at the problem. It’s funny to watch the news media tie itself into knots as it dawns on them that eventually, the administration will move on from deporting the most hardened criminals and begin deporting everyone in the country illegally.
ABC News’ Martha Raddatz interviewed Homan and was shocked to learn that it’s going to be like this “every single day” through the next four years. Illegal aliens will be rounded up, arrested, and removed from the country—without exception.
Raddatz seems to struggle with the concept that every “illegal” immigrant has committed at least one crime, by virtue of entering the country ILLEGALLY. Watch as Homan patiently tries to explain this to her over and over again…
