Some Black Lives Matter activists in Louisville, Kentucky, took to the streets recently, this time to verbally attack young cheerleaders over their alleged white privilege.
Some quotes in the video include an activist saying, “The reason why you get to be here in these pretty gorgeous houses with your porch there or the store is because of your white privilege. Breonna is dead. Black mothers are burying their babies… Do something!”
Other quotes berate bystanders as racist white people out to “make sure we don’t protest anymore…. You’re an embarrassment.”
And then there’s worse (profanity we cannot even write out).
Black lives do matter, but berating young girls and other bystanders isn’t helping the cause. And misrepresenting Breonna Taylor’s death is a lie. The unfortunate event highlights the increased hijacking of the noble goal to end racism into an excuse to verbally abuse anyone without reason.
It appears all you have to do today to is cross the street in the direction of a “mostly peaceful” protest to be attacked. This kind of treatment doesn’t sound like white privilege, but it certainly seems to continue being overlooked by the left.
