Longtime leftist Bill Maher admitted that even he would be willing to vote for Ron DeSantis as president – suggesting the Florida governor may be the Republican party’s best bet in 2024.
Maher has said in the past that he would be onboard with a DeSantis White House bid, though he has admitted he would never vote for Trump and he may not be alone in that thinking.
The left-wing talk show host has observed that the ever-polarizing former President Trump scared moderate voters away, while defending DeSantis ability to lead and push good policy simultaneously.
Maher has also noted that while Biden would easily defeat Trump again, it would be a very different story should he face DeSantis, who nearly half his age, in the general election.

Why wouldn’t Bill Maher or anyone vote for President Trump, who made this nation great again. Energy independence, Closed the Southern border and started to build a wall to protect our nation. Brought inflation down the lowest is had been in years. Brought companies back to the USA , so people had work. Stood up to china, Russia, north Korea. The stock market was the highest in years. Got rid of regulations that was harming business. He was making everyone prosperous that wanted to work. Did more for blacks and minorities, than any President before him. And yet people voted for the most corrupt Biden regime. that has almost destroyed our nation. And now you don’t want to vote for the most successful President in years. Something is wrong with the people of this nation. Or was it voter fraud that is destroying our nation. Wake up America!!!

In Florida the GOP won a landslide. DeSantis and Rubio and everyone else in the Florida GOP won in a red tsunami. The same one the polls showed was happening in the entire country.
Guess what Florida has? Florida has strict Voter ID, strict laws against voter fraud, severe prison terms for anyone caught trying to commit voter fraud, no mail-in ballots sent to every voter, no ballot drop boxes, no ballot harvesting, no ballots accepted for days after Election Day, no counting for days until the desired result is achieved by the Democrat Party.
Isn’t it a funny and strange coincidence that in that state, with all of those strict rules against cheating, the GOP red tsunami happened as predicted? But everywhere else, where there are no strict laws against voter fraud, and they allow all that cheating, the red tsunami fizzled.
And that under-performance is being blamed on Trump? And on conservative MAGA candidates?
Yet in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis is the most Trump-like, MAGA, America First, anti- woke, anti-trannie, in-your-face, ultra conservative politician in all of America. And with that ultra MAGA message, plus strict voting fraud laws…the GOP swept to a landslide.
This is NO coincidence at ALL but STRONG Evidence that the GOP LOST PRECISELY because of the voting law flaws that weak Republicans seem content to allow!!

Some good comments here, most of which I agree with, but would add one more perceived problem with the GOP which I think led to the almost absolute failure to achieve the “Red Tsunami” we all hoped for.
The majority of “Representatives and Senators” currently sitting in The Capital are seen ( with good reason ) as gutless RINO’s who could not between them recall any single GOP “Promise” prior to the last “election”, let alone believe in such things !
I will not vote for such creatures myself, so why would I expect any other decent, honest, hard-working and Christian American to not think the same way ?!!

This is so true. The USA is a great country and needs to have the GOP get a back bone enough to take back our great country. Most are all talk just to get elected then they don’t do what they were elected to do. Either do your job or get out and let someone that is a strong enough person to run our country and make us proud Americans again.
