Biden’s latest speech blamed inflation on everyone but himself. He blamed the 3 P’s: Vladimir Putin, the COVID pandemic, and his political rivals. When blaming his political rivals, Biden not only tried to pin the blame on Republicans, but also included a newly coined phrase “ultra-MAGA” and tried to paint them as a problem for the nation.
But before you go out and buy yourself an “Ultra-MAGA” t-shirt in defiance of the White House, you should know that no one is buying Biden’s blame game.
Biden has attempted to present himself as a common sense moderate, contrasting his so-called reasonable policies with Trump supporters who he associates with extremism, racism, xenophobia, and other negative labels. But the truth is quite different.
Joe Biden has been in office for 17 months now so he can’t keep going back and blaming his predecessor. Especially when the economy under the Trump administration was one of the best performing in history. The Biden administration is responsible for generation-high inflation and record high gas prices. That’s in addition to an open border, a failed departure from Afghanistan and moms can’t even buy baby formula.
This isn’t the pattern of a president focused on unity and helping Americans. Instead, it looks more like Obama 3.0 or Carter 2.0. Plus, what’s wrong with wanting to make America great again? It’s sure better than making America weak again, which appears to be Biden’s agenda.
