Nina Jankowitz is the Biden Administration’s latest version of woke insanity. She is a weird non-elected appointee with the Orwellian title of executive director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board.

As what has to be the worst idea ever, this modern version of 1984’s Ministry of Truth has at its mission to “combat online disinformation.”
Who gets to decide what is true and what is fake? It’s none other than Nina Jankowitz. Yes, the Nina Jankowitz who praised the fictitious Steele Dossier that had Donald Trump paying Russian prostitutes to urinate on a hotel room bed once slept in by Barack Obama. THAT’s who Biden put in charge of truth in this country!
She also claimed that the emails recovered from Hunter Biden’s trove of malfeasance on his laptop were Russian fakes. The New York Times and the Washington Post, two left-wing newspapers, authenticated the emails.
Then there’s the uncomfortable relationship between the First Amendment and people saying rough stuff about Uncle Joe. When news broke about Elon Musk buying Twitter, she said—and you can’t make this stuff up!—“I shudder to think (what happens if free speech absolutists (take) over more platforms.”
Since she’s the truth czar at DHS, what would happen if she could make it happen, would be DHS commando raids on people who say bad things about her mentor Joe Biden and son Hunter.
That’s the bad news. The better news is that funding Ms. Jankowitz’s governance board doesn’t seem to have much support. Said Senator John Kennedy (R-LA), “She will devour the real truth like it was a light snack.”
