American families struggling to put food on the table for their families has become the new norm thanks to Joe’s highly celebrated “Bidenomics.”
Things are looking so dire for the average American family that even major food CEOs are now shifting their marketing efforts to tell people that feeding their family the cheap junk food made by large corporations is a great way to save money.
In an appearance on CNBC, Kellogg’s CEO Gary Pilnick bragged about a new ad deployed by his company which promotes families eating cereal for dinner because they likely can’t afford anything else in Biden’s America.
“The cereal category has always been quite affordable and it tends to be a great destination when consumers are under pressure,” Pilnick said.
Discussing their efforts to “reach the consumer where they are”, Pilnick implies that Kelloggs has begun targeting Americans being crushed by inflation.
“If you think about the cost of cereal for a family versus what they might otherwise do, that’s going to be much more affordable,” he added.
When the CNBC host asks if this messaging might “land the wrong way” Pilnick suggests that things are only getting worse for the working class and people being forced to resort to cheap junk food is something they expect to “continue to grow.”
Under Joe Biden food spending as a share of disposable income has soared to the highest level in 30 years and it’s not slowing down anytime soon.
