Back in 2022 Joe Biden depleted the U.S. strategic petroleum reserve (SPR) in an effort to artificially lower gas prices after his war against America’s oil and gas industry sent them skyrocketing and now he’s REFUSING to refill the reserve.
The SPR is considered to be critically important should the U.S. enter a major conflict, which is even more so true now that America’s domestic energy producing capabilities have been handicapped by Biden.
With that being said, Biden claimed in 2022 that he had a “plan to refill” the SPR at a later date but now he’s saying that he has no plans to do so because “oil is too expensive”
Considering the fact that Joe and his leftist allies have ZERO ISSUE with spending taxpayer money – whether it’s by giving it to Ukraine or on things like free housing for illegals – it’s pretty clear that this decision is less about the cost and more about keeping America as vulnerable as he possibly can.
Naturally as you might expect, the American people have some questions about this and Fox News’ Peter Doocy tried to get answers to those questions – but he got a response that has been all too common from this disastrous regime – a bunch of nonsensical rambling.
Doocy asked exactly WHY the regime was actually deciding not to refill the ever-important SPR and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre talked in circles before ultimately just moving on.
