The White House has announced that President Joe Biden will be making a trip to Saudi Arabia next month, causing alarm about the plans to normalize relations with the country behind the brutal killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and strong connections to the events of 9/11.
While running for president, Biden had strong words for Saudi Arabia. The video shares a clip of him during a debate stating, “We are going to in fact make them pay the price and make them face the pariah that they are.”
Biden went from calling them a pariah and cutting them off to begging them to do business with us. With record high gas prices and Biden unwilling to make the U.S. energy independent once more, that leaves bowing to Middle Eastern nations that commit horrific human rights violations in exchange for more oil to bring down prices.
The president who has promised to decrease dependence on fossil fuels has instead made the nation enslaved to oil producers in non-democratic societies.
It’s a sad combination that has angered many Americans who feel powerless to stop the accommodating methods of the president. Instead, the anger appears to be building toward a red wave in November that will send a strong message to the left to stop caving to the Middle East and set out to create American independence when it comes to energy production.
