Biden reacts to the complaints of Americans concerned over inflation and gas prices by Americans should be grateful for all he’s accomplished over the last 11 months.
Stop laughing. This isn’t a joke.
And yes, Joe Biden really said that. To Americans suffering under his regime.
He said, “We’ve gone from an economy that has been shut down to an economy that is leading the world in economic growth.” Biden is legitimately trying to take credit for an economic recovery that he had nothing to do with. The jobs have come back because of consumer spending, not because of any policy Joe Biden has enacted. Any economic progress Americans have experienced has been despite him being in office, not because of it.
Biden also said, “Things are getting better for American workers.” Well, maybe if you mean ending COVID era unemployment benefits are forcing more people back into the job force, but inflation means that even a salary increase of 5 to 10 percent isn’t enough to offset what we pay in the stores for basic items.
Maybe the economy is getting better because more Americans are forced to work second and third jobs to pay their bills? It’s certainly not due to anything good coming out of the White House.
The lines in the Biden speech would be humorous if they weren’t so serious. Instead, Americans are outraged over a president who has tanked the economy and much more in less than one year in office.
