In case it wasn’t already abundantly clear that Biden’s chances going into the 2024 election are AWFUL, this incredibly embarrassing move by his campaign should give you a bit of insight into how bad things are looking for old Joe.
Roughly five months before the election, Biden and his campaign have ALREADY conceded that they’re going to lose one of the most important states in the election – Florida.
Historically, the state has been purple and has been known as one of the most important battleground states due to its large number of electoral college votes – currently 30.
However, rockstar Governor Ron DeSantis and his strong conservative policies had turned it into a DEEPLY red state – and the Democrats are deciding they don’t stand a chance.
During an interview with Puck News, Jen O’Malley Dillon, Biden’s re-election campaign chair, admitted that they’ve already given up on the Sunshine State.
The interviewer, John Heilemann, listed off some states, asking Dillon if the campaign considered them to be battleground contests.
When it came to Florida, Dillon’s answer was to the point – “No.”
It’s worth noting that Barack Obama won the state in both 2008 and 2012, making it even more bizarre that Biden is throwing in the towel.
Though it’s not entirely surprising considering that Biden has hit a new all-time low in terms of his approval rating and that historically low number is fueled by the fact that even people in the blue parts of battleground states HATE him.
Biden’s own campaign knows he can’t win – what does that tell you about his chances?
Watch the video here to see why they’re in an all-out panic.
