Joe Biden has decimated America’s domestic oil and gas industry as part of his efforts to accelerate a transition to “green” energy, but even when it comes to that, Biden is failing miserably.
Following massive production cuts from OPEC+, his administration is scrambling to fight off rising gas prices ahead of midterms, fearing sticker shock at the pump will leave congressional Democrats jobless come November.
Rather than taking the chains off of American producers, Biden has turned to hostile foreign nations like Venezuela and Iran to sell the United States the oil it needs.
On top of that, the president has been depleting America’s strategic petroleum reserves, dropping it to its lowest level since 1984, and even selling quite a bit to countries like China and Saudi Arabia in the process.
Spotting an opportunity to profit off of Biden’s stupidity, the Chinese and the Saudis are taking that very oil, intentionally raising the prices, and then selling it right back to us at the new higher price.
Of course, this type of price squeeze was only made possible by the Biden administration’s energy policies in the first place, which put the Democrat agenda first and the average American family last.
