Bernie Sanders Refuses to Call Venezuela’s President Maduro a Dictator

Bernie Sanders is the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination for 2020. Read that again. Out of all of the Democrats in the country, he is currently the favorite to be nominated as a Presidential candidate. It’s one thing for the crazy guy from Vermont to run. It’s quite another for him to be the top pick for the Democrats.

Surely by now you have seen enough of his antics and insanity to be terrified by the notion of him being President. He has praised bread lines, supported Stalin’s Soviet Union, called for the U.S. to be more like Castro’s Cube and generally pushed authoritarian communism on our country. That’s bothersome. That he’s done it as a Senator for more than a decade is something else entirely.

Well, he’s not showing any signs of change. Just this week, he was asked what he thinks of Venezuela. Remember, Bernie was one of the most vocal supporters of Hugo Chavez in all of the West. When power transferred to Maduro, Bernie transferred that support. He’s been in Maduro’s corner every step of the way.

Don’t forget how terrible things have become in Venezuela under the despotic rule of Maduro. It’s important to have that knowledge in your mind when you watch this clip. Bernie still supports Maduro, and his deflections are pathetic at best. Take a look.
