So, everyone knows that Bernie Sanders can’t do basic math, right? Aside from Kool Aid drinking college kids, everyone realizes that he’s spouting fantasy? If not, then some people reading this might be in for a rough day.
Bernie’s proposals are mathematically impossible. That’s not according to some right-wing think tank or propaganda piece. That’s according to Bernie himself.
We’ll get into the new tax plan in a moment, but this needs to be understood. Even if Bernie is as mathematically illiterate as he appears to be on the campaign trail, he’s a Senator. He can definitely afford a staffer who is capable of using a calculator. There is absolutely no way on this earth that Bernie is truly ignorant of the impossibility of his platform.
So, if he knows it can’t work, and he’s still promoting it, that says something about the man’s character. Like every single socialist before him, he’s happy to lie to your face in order to gain power and steal from you later.
