A puzzling phenomenon developed after the fake news media and Dr. Anthony Fauci spread fear that people who don’t wear a mask could contract COVID and die. We see people driving inside their own cars wearing masks. Others continue to wear masks outdoors after getting fully vaccinated.
Even though there is virtually no possibility they can get sick from COVID, a high number of people continue to wear masks. Ami Horowitz examines this strange mask fetish by questioning random people on the street in this viral video.
Although it came as no surprise, the first person Horowitz asks why he is wearing a mask doesn’t actually know. He stops, looks bewildered for a moment, and admits he’s not sure. After the scientific facts are explained that vaccinated people cannot get sick from COVID and wearing a mask runs contrary to science, he pulls it off.
But not every mask addict is as open to processing facts about the waning pandemic. As a wide range of responses are presented on this person-on-the-street report, it seems cultural, political, social, and media forces may have something to do with mask-wearing.
