Appeals Court Sides with Trump Admin on Asylum Rules

Let’s get something straight. The border crisis isn’t over. It isn’t resolved. It isn’t even close. We all took a sigh of relief when President Trump scored a few wins and illegal immigration numbers finally started to drop. Mexico is legitimately helping us now, so a lot of people stopped paying attention.

Here’s the thing. July had the lowest illegal crossing numbers of the year at around 80,000. That’s not a number to celebrate. That’s still more crossings that any month outside of 2019. Ever.

The crisis is alive and well. We can appreciate the progress that President Trump has made, but it is way too soon to move on from this issue.

Thankfully, our President is more focused than the general population. His administration is still working hard to bring illegal immigration under control, and they just scored another significant win. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled in favor of Mr. Trump’s new asylum rule.

That’s the 9th Circuit — the most liberal appeals court in the nation. If they can’t kill the rule, no one can.

Of course, there’s a big difference between hearing about a win and understanding what it really means for the big picture. This video will help with that. It explains the asylum change and why it matters. Take a look.
