AOC and Ilhan Omar’s Lie about Being Arrested Turns Out to be False

Far-left congressional Democrats staged a “civil disobedience” abortion protest outside the Supreme Court, breaking the law in doing so.

The entire event was just an opportunity for these women to look like they care and are willing to stand up for something when in reality in both their short times in Congress they’ve sponsored no bills that have passed. They’ve literally done nothing.

But when officers fell for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar’s antics and asked them to leave the area, the Democrats used it for every bit of press coverage they could get – never passing up a good opportunity to put on a bit of theater for the cameras.

The congressmen and women were blocking traffic during their protest and Capitol Police issued several warnings to the group before eventually asking them to leave. They didn’t handcuff anyone or arrest them.

While being loosely escorted by one officer, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez pretended to have a set of handcuffs placed on her to help sell the act, before seemingly breaking free from her invisible handcuffs to throw a fist up for the crowd.

Even more embarrassing, perhaps, was the fact that Ilhan Omar similarly pretended to have a pair of invisible cuffs on her – but didn’t have an officer escorting her who was willing to play along.

This ‘anything for the camera’ style has become the M.O. of the left as of late who, with the support of the media, have been trying to sell the American public on their performance theater rather than their actual policies.

Tucker Carlson’s guest in this video, Vince Coglianese says it best, pointing out that this is a perfect example of what AOC really is – a “Slacktivist.”
