A guest on MSNBC compared pro-life supporters to suicide bombers. Daily Wire host Michael Knowles discusses.
The guest stated, “This is a matter of civil rights. Having the right to an abortion is a Constitutional right. It’s grounded in the right to privacy that is within the Constitution and I find it really interesting that part of this argument is an argument about, you know, the rights and abortion is not explicitly listed in the Constitution. But you know what, neither is the right to bear arms that we interpret that law as the interpretation of a Constitutional provision of the Second Amendment.”
Say what? The guest says the Second Amendment is not in the Constitution, but it clearly is and is spelled out in the exact words. Yet she compared the right to an abortion to this clear legal right, saying they are the same.
The scary part is that the host Rev. Sharpton did not even call her on the issue. Apparently, he doesn’t want his audience confused by the facts. We have a narrative to keep here.
If we’re going to make up what is and isn’t in the Constitution, we’re in big trouble. It’s one thing for someone not to know what’s in the Constitution. It’s an entirely different level of absurdity to start making up things that don’t exist and stating them as fact.
