Minnesota is embroiled in a massive scandal right now. The state’s seriously retarded Governor Tim Walz has allowed Somali refugees to steal over $1 billion in taxpayer money through elaborate social services scams. Dozens of Somalis have been arrested for running fake charities, and ICE is now rounding up Somali illegal aliens.
The scandal has left many Americans wondering, How did all these Somalis end up in America in the first place?
The answer dates back to Bill Clinton’s disastrous foreign policy misadventures in 1993. That was the year of the infamous “Black Hawk Down” incident, when a US Army helicopter piloted by Chief Warrant Officer Mike Durant was shot down in Mogadishu, Somalia.
114 US Army Rangers, along with a handful of Delta Force and Navy SEAL operators, responded to try to rescue the pilots. That small force ended up in a gunfight with thousands of Somali militia members.
Mike Durant was captured, and Bill Clinton abandoned him and the other deceased pilots to the Somalis. It was a shameful act on Clinton’s part. It was also that disastrous event that led to America suddenly bringing thousands of Third World Somali scammers into the country.
Durant somehow survived and eventually ran for US Senate in Alabama in 2022 (he lost in a crowded primary). He finally sat down with Shawn Ryan this week to tell the incredible story of his captivity. This is just a preview of the full interview, to give a sense of what he went through:
