Ever since President-Elect Donald Trump was declared the victor of the 2024 election, there has been this overwhelming feeling across the country that America is back in business.
And when Trump was asked to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange this week, that feeling was put on full display when the entire room broke out in chants of “USA! USA! USA!” to celebrate the incoming president.
Trump rang the bell to signal the open of the trading day and the exchange, filled with stock traders, CEOs and other business leaders erupted into patriotic chants to show their support for, not just Trump, but for the revival of the American economy which he represents.
The turnout was so impressive that one CNBC anchor reacting to it in real time referred to it as a “show of force of American business.”
CNBC’s Jim Cramer (who predicted that Democrat Kamala Harris would win the election) was also shocked by what he saw and said that he had never seen a collection of business leaders like those who showed up to see Trump ring the bell.
For that past four years we’ve been subjected to one of the most economically oppressive and anti-capitalist administrations that this country has ever had and you can feel the collective sigh of relief as Trump’s return to office brings with it the return of America.
