All-Star Conservative Lineup Moves to Get Voter ID on the Ballot in California

California’s elections are fake. Everyone understands that, right? Between the state’s “motor voter” law, allowing illegal aliens to get REAL ID driver’s licenses, and universal mail-in voting, the Democrats have had a supermajority in the state assembly and senate since 2016. This is despite California having more Republican voters than Texas or Florida.

Voter ID is just one method that could rein in the Democrats’ election fraud system in California. RFK, Jr.’s former running mate in the 2024 election, Nicole Shanahan, is now spearheading an effort to get voter ID on the ballot in the 2026 midterms.

Here are some stats that might shock you about California. The voters in California overwhelmingly support voter ID and citizenship verification to vote. It cuts across party lines.

In a poll conducted in January 2025, 68% of all likely California voters said they support voter ID to cast a ballot. That figure included 52% of Democrat voters. And a shocking 79% of likely voters said they support citizenship verification for voting, including 69% of Democrats.

Shanahan appeared on Benny Johnson’s podcast this week, when the topic of voter ID came up. They need to gather 1 million signatures to safely get the initiative on the 2026 ballot. Out of the blue, Benny came up with the idea to hold a Turning Point-style rally in California to gather signatures, which will include an all-star conservative lineup. (Scott Presler and several others have already committed.)
