Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Tells People Stop Calling Socialism “Free Stuff”

We haven’t talked about AOC for a while. Impeachment hearings dominated the news cycle, and she’s too slow to realize that she has to be extra stupid to get anyone’s notice. Fret not. She eventually figured it out, and she’s back on the scene with an extra dose of stupid. So, here we all are, noticing her again.

The author of the worst piece of legislation in American history (yes, the Green New Deal is literally worse than the three-fifths compromise) doesn’t like how you discuss her policies. She’s trying to buy votes by using tax dollars to promise people free health care, free education, free housing and actual free cash, but she doesn’t want you to say that directly.

When you accuse her policies of being gimmicky promises of “free stuff,” it undercuts her position. Americans are wise to most scams, so as soon as you claim things are free, they start looking for the catch. That seems like a great way to face socialism head on in this country, and it’s exactly why she doesn’t want you using this language.

Before you watch the video and get dragged down to her level, remember the premise. She’s literally campaigning on a bunch of tax-funded programs, but she doesn’t want it called “free.” That’s pretty special.

Ok, go ahead and watch the video. You’re sure to be enlightened by the infinite wisdom of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
