AG Bill Barr Comments on the Rise in Anti-Semitism, Especially Among Political Factions

Gary Franchi of Next News Network recently looked at Attorney General William Barr’s impassioned speech at the Anti-Semitism Conference.

In that speech, Barr addressed what Franchi described as “the disgusting truth behind the motive” of Anti-Semites like Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Long a haven for Jewish voters, the Democrat Party leadership has shown a surprising unwillingness to denounce blatantly anti-Israel voices among its own junior lawmakers.

Rank and file Democrats have demanded House Speaker Nancy Pelosi add the words “all forms of hate speech” to what at first specifically targeted Anti-Semitic hate speech.

CNN’s Jake Tapper reports that many Democrats leaders are frustrated. One insider complained, “We couldn’t even bring ourselves to have a resolution exclusively condemning anti-Semitism uttered by one of those members’ — Omar — ‘but we leapt to their defense here.”

Tapper says that his sources in the Democratic Party are “frustrated at President Trump’s ‘brilliant’ political move to make stars of ‘The Squad.’” The four, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, and Rep. Ayanna Pressley have all made cutting anti-Israel remarks.

Franchi says there is good news in that AG Barr is addressing the problem. Like other observers, the host wonders how Democrats could have let the Squad come to be the “DeFacto Voice” of the party.

Watch the video and learn what Barr has to say about those who make the Jewish people a scapegoat to further their own political agenda.
