Advocate for Homeless Says President Trump Could ‘Turn L.A. Red’ with Executive Order

Here’s an important statistic for you: 12.5 percent of all Americans live in California. Yet, one-quarter of all homeless Americans live in California. Half of the homeless in California are just in L.A. county.

Think about what all of that means. One of the most prominent counties in the country is the single largest hotbed for homelessness. Is it because of the weather, or are California politicians failing immeasurably?

You already know the answer. Homelessness is grossly exacerbated by California legislation. Politicians prevent developers from making homes, which seems like a pretty easy way to alleviate the problem. They also support policies that practically invite homelessness in the state. It’s hard to imagine how they could get everything more wrong.

One of the leading advocates helping to fight homelessness in L.A. has a strong opinion on the problem. He believes that President Trump could put a huge dent in the issue with a single executive order. He also believes that mitigating homelessness in L.A. would be enough to flip the county red in a heartbeat.

It’s better that you hear this straight from the source. Ted Hayes has strong words, and he just might know what he’s talking about. Take a look and see for yourself how this problem is affecting the entire nation.
