Actor Kelsey Grammar sent shockwaves through Hollywood in a recent interview in which he — *gasp*, horror of horrors — voiced support for President Donald Trump. You probably remember Grammar from his role as a neurotic psychologist in “Frasier” and “Cheers” for many years. Grammar is also one of those extremely rare individuals who happens to be a conservative in Hollywood.
Grammar sat down for an interview with leftwing reporter Christiane Amanpour, and she tries to goad him into talking about Trump. The soft-spoken Grammar gave her an earful.
And his response to her is especially telling. He says the same group of clowns in DC have been acting as a uniparty for the past 50 to 60 years. That’s significant, because unlike some Hollywood conservatives who are really libertarians or who simply want to pay low taxes, Grammar appears to be a genuine Trump supporter.
He knows that the real fracturing between the elites and everyday Americans happened “50 to 60 years” ago — namely, with the passage of the 1965 Immigration Act. That was the dividing line in America when the elites decided that they would replace all of us icky normal people with a compliant serf class from the Third World which would continuously vote them into power.
Grammar makes some additional great points and the interview is a hoot to watch, because he’s so soft-spoken as he eviscerates Amanpour before she can even finish her questions. Watch his response when the interviewer tries to suggest it’s a bad thing that Trump has “shaken things up” in Washington.
