As Rodney King once said, “Why can’t we all just get along?” Isn’t it incredibly sad to see the riots taking place in American cities this week? It started in Los Angeles, and now the riots are expected to spread to places like Seattle, Philadelphia, and other Democrat controlled cities across the country.
The fact that the Democrat leaders in these cities and states don’t care about the plight of their own citizens makes it even worse. As rioters were murdering at least one American on the streets in LA this week, Governor Gavin Newsom’s wife was shopping for luxury items in a Beverly Hills mall.
Mrs. Newsom smirked for the cameras as her security detail led her into the mall. She was sporting a $2,500 handbag while the city was burning just a few blocks away. Even though there are photographs of this, Gavin Newsom’s press office is demanding a full retraction of the story.
He’s got enough bad press this week! Can’t everyone just leave him alone!
It reminds us of the time when Vladimir Zelensky’s wife went shopping with American taxpayer money at luxury stores in Paris, as her country was being turned into rubble by the mighty Russian military. Completely out of touch and uncaring for the suffering of others.
It’s so sad.
