7 Sex Offenders Released Early from Jail…Because They Might Catch the Virus

California has released hundreds of convicted criminals over the last month. Hordes of violent rapists and sexual child abusers have been let out of jail due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Orange County District Attorney’s Office issued a community warning on Tuesday. Court Commissioner Joseph Dane issued the release despite the fact the D.A.’s office warned the sex offenders in question have all been charged with “tampering with their GPS monitoring devices.”

District Attorney Todd Spitzer issued a statement in which he said, “These kinds of high-risk sex offenders are the most dangerous kind of criminal and the most likely to re-offend … These are not the kind of people who should be getting a break.”

Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes said the county had no reason to release the prisoners because his jail is not crowded. Barnes said, “We have responsibly created the capacity needed in the jail to house sex offenders and other dangerous criminals. I oppose efforts that excuse criminal behavior and jeopardize the safety of our community.”

San Francisco’s ABC7 reports one of the prisoners released is Jose Adrian Oregel who has an extensive history of “unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor” and has violated parole six times since June 2019.

Watch the video as Liz Wheeler of One America News reveals how these sex offenders are faring with parole officers since their release. This is terrifying!
