Let’s talk about how the left tells their lies. There’s no chance that you’ve missed the news about Alabama’s new abortion law. The left was in a frenzy over Georgia’s heartbeat bill, but Alabama trumped that in an instant. There are three common lies you’ve heard about this bill, and we’ll debunk them all very quickly.
The first and biggest lie is that this bill will imprison women for getting an abortion and even for having a miscarriage. This is a direct quote from the Alabama bill, “Section 5. No woman upon whom an abortion is performed or attempted to be performed shall be criminally or civilly liable.” It’s one of the most easily debunked lies they’ve told in a while.
The second lie is that the bill bans medically necessary abortions. Against, a direct quote from the bill should suffice. This comes from Section 3, “The term [abortion] does not include these activities if done with the intent to save the life or preserve the health of an unborn . . .or to avoid a serious health risk to the unborn child’s mother.” It’s another stupid lie that is easily debunked.
The last lie is that this is a war on women. That’s a strange way to describe an issue that is supported by a vast majority of Republican women. Sadly, this isn’t the only pack of lies you’ve been told over the past week. You’ll find a number of similar deceptions in this video. Take a look.
