The mainstream media is the enemy of the people. No, that’s not a call to violence. It’s a call to the realization that the major news organizations, with some exceptions, are not there to inform the public so that our democracy can be a high-functioning one.
You’ve probably noticed that whenever a particular political story is not convenient for the left, we end up with major coverage of one out of a hundred minor shootings, or some stupid controversy over a Covington-like event. At the same time, major failures of the mainstream medical community, the fallout of American military intervention, and the complete failure of these leftist indoctrination centers we call public schools go uncovered in the MSM.
As this willful blindness plays out, certain phenomena are over-covered to give the public the impression that a problem has reached epidemic levels. Cops shooting minorities is a prime example. Cops actually kill far more white people per capita than they do blacks- even when you adjust for relative population sizes. Nevertheless, we are told that all cops are rabid racist’s hunting black people through the streets of America. It’s sick, and it causes both black people and cops to live in undue fear.
If you think this is new, you’re wrong. The MSM has been twisting the news and spoiling for war for at least 70 years.
