The US Senate is debating the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act right now, so that means the Planned Parenthood-funded Democrats are bringing all their rhetorical firepower to bear. And by that, we mean they are lying through their lying teeth. It also means that America gets to experience the joy, once again, of Hawaii’s Democrat Sen. Mazie Hirono talking out loud in public.
That’s always a white-knuckle moment for Hirono’s Democrat colleagues in the Senate. You can literally feel the tension in the air when Hirono gets close to the microphone, because her fellow Democrats are all worried that she’s going to say something dumber than Congressman Hank Johnson (D-GA). Rep. Johnson, you may remember, once mused in a House hearing that the island of Guam might “tip over” if the US military moved too many troops onto its base there.
Hirono did manage to get through the Democrats’ tired and false talking points about abortion without picking her nose, but it was a close one. But man, oh man — did she tell some whopper lies about the Democrats’ real position on abortion.
