People in AOC’s District Asked if They Support Socialism, Overwhelmingly Answer No!

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gets a lot of attention. The Democrats will tell you it’s because she won a tough election by being a thought leader. That’s the complete opposite of the truth. She gets attention because she has the dumbest Twitter account on the planet. Every time she opens her mouth, it’s like an industrialized gaffe factory.

The truth of her election is that she ran in New York’s 14th Congressional District. This district had a long-time incumbent, and the voting base was thoroughly disinterested. AOC’s “hard fought” campaign involved a debate where the challenger didn’t show up, and a whole lot of money from an outside PAC that works to elect alt-left Democrats.

The truth is that her election was won by 4,000 votes. In a district with close to half a million registered voters and over 600,000 residents, AOC’s impressive campaign saw less than a 30-percent turnout. It’s hard to imagine a less-impressive way to become a Representative. Unfortunately, the rest of the country is now being punished for the 14th District’s apathy.

When you look at those numbers, it’s easy to see how this video is possible. It isn’t a trick; it’s just an honest depiction of the average constituent in AOC’s district. So, enjoy the video. See what real New Yorkers actually think about socialism. Then, wonder if she’ll win so easily next year. It’ll depend on whether or not her hated policies can penetrate that apathy.
