If we showed up at your office today and told you that hell had frozen over, that the sky was green or that there were little piggies flying around with wings in the parking lot, you would want to verify our claims. At least, we hope you would.
Here is another one of those claims: Vice Media, one of the most notorious, anti-gun media outlets in America, has just admitted that gun bans do not work. Not only that, but Vice Media admits that blanket prohibitions of firearms like the AR-15 will not do anything to reduce supply or demand of these guns. If prohibition didn’t work for alcohol, drugs or karaoke night, why would it work for firearms?
We know what you’re thinking: “Yeah, sure, Vice Media claims gun bans don’t work! Next, I suppose you’ll tell us that PBS did an in-depth analysis and discovered that the United States only accounts for one percent of all mass shootings in the world?” (Actually, that happened too!)
The Vice Media claims are part of a new series called, “Maybe I’m Wrong.” The host plans to look at polarizing issues and keep an open mind about them. We’re predicting that he will be fired the instant that he looks at the abortion issue, but hey, at least he got the gun episode out of the way before the left cannibalized him.
Check out the video below and prepare to be amazed — this video is, after all, the journalistic equivalent of pigs flying.
