The Last Clinton Supporter Finally Turns on Hillary

Since the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton’s favor even among her own party has been spiraling down like a crashing airplane. Between all of the corruption that has come to light and Clinton’s nonsensical tendency to blame everything and everyone in the world except for herself for her loss, those on the left have been given plenty of reason to distance themselves from the failed candidate.

Now, even one of Clinton’s most ardent supporters and arguably one of the last ones remaining – Saturday Night Live – has turned on her. There’s no denying that SNL has been incredibly one-sided as of late, choosing to take aim at Trump and his administration time and time again in their skits while giving those on the left a free pass. Their political pandering has gotten so bad that the show’s ratings have taken a hit. Now, though, SNL has decided to buck the trend and set their sights on Clinton and her inner circle of fellow washed-up politicians.

The piece is no doubt entertaining, but it’s also meaningful. For SNL to go after Clinton, Feinstein, Schumer, and others marks a fairly dramatic shift in the narrative. While most of the country has already turned on Clinton and her ilk, the liberal wing of the media – particularly late night television – have been holding out. Now, though, that no longer seems to be the case.
