Americans Deliver Failing Grade to Mainstream Media as Trust Completely Collapses

The American people have spoken — and the media just got a big fat F on their report card.

Only 6% of Americans say they have a “great deal” of trust in journalists. Just 6%! That’s barely enough people to fill a high school gym class. Among Republicans, it’s even worse — a microscopic 2%. And even Democrats, who usually eat up whatever CNN spoon-feeds them, only clock in at 9%. That’s not a trust gap. That’s a trust crater.

And honestly, who can blame anybody? Just this week, Axios had to delete a post that tried to claim crime dropped *despite* Trump’s crackdown. That’s like saying water got cleaner *despite* someone installing a filtration system. It’s nonsense.

Meanwhile, The Washington Post is out here pushing stories that Trump is secretly pulling National Guard troops out of cities — when he already announced it weeks ago. Either they’re too lazy to check facts, or they’re hoping their readers are.

Then there was the attempt to blame Senator JD Vance’s motorcade for an Olympic athlete nearly missing her event. Spoiler alert: the real reason had nothing to do with him. But hey, if a conservative’s nearby, the media will find a way to throw them under the bus.

This is what journalism has become — a clown car of misinformation with the windows rolled down and the facts flying out. They’re not interested in truth. They’re interested in headlines that make Trump and Republicans look bad, even if they have to twist themselves into pretzels to do it.

So when only 6% of Americans trust the media, it’s not because Trump calls them fake news. It’s because they keep proving him right.

I guess congratulations are in order for “journalists” and the mainstream media.
