Zohran Mamdani- Backed Candidate Rejects Key American Holidays

You’d think running for office in America would require, at bare minimum, some respect for America. But not if you’re backed by Zohran Mamdani—the radical socialist who somehow still gets called a “mainstream” Democrat in New York politics. His chosen candidate for a Queens state Assembly seat is making waves for, get this, trashing American national holidays.

That’s right. This candidate, riding the coattails of Mamdani’s far-left brand, has publicly rejected key American traditions—including our national holidays. The days we honor our history, our heroes, our independence? Yeah, she’s not a fan. Apparently, celebrating the Fourth of July or Memorial Day is just too “problematic” for her ideology.

You have to wonder—why run to represent Americans if you can’t even bring yourself to celebrate the country you want to serve?

This isn’t just some fringe opinion from a no-name activist. This is a candidate backed by a sitting city council member who’s about to become a mayor. That’s the Democrat bench these days: people who think loving your country is offensive, and would rather rewrite history than respect it.

And let’s be clear, this isn’t about “nuance” or “critique.” It’s about a full-on rejection of American values and culture. The only thing she seems to celebrate is grievance. The same folks who clutch their pearls over “threats to democracy” are the first to stomp on the very symbols that unite us.

If this is the future of the Democrat Party, they can keep it.
