Go Reince! While some people didn’t think he had it in him, the chairman of the Republican Party, Reince Priebus, has gotten behind GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump in a big way.
Not only is Priebus fully in support of his party’s candidate, but he’s calling out doubters and haters who may still belong to lingering elements of the #NeverTrump movement, such as rival candidates Ted Cruz, John Kasich and others who some now might consider RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) for their potential rescinding of pledges to support the Republican Party candidate no matter who that person ended up being.
While primary scuffles and offensive words from Trump may have ruffled the feathers of some of these other candidates, the time has come for them to put their personal differences aside and back the official GOP candidate for president.
Priebus is showing true leadership by essentially saying that Republican Party funding for any future campaigns by these other politicians could be in doubt if they don’t stand by their word and their party in this historic election.
