For years the lunatics on the left have obsessed over Donald Trump’s tax returns, insisting that they were the final piece of the puzzle necessary to find him guilty of being a ‘Russian asset’ – and boy, were they wrong.
Trump-deranged leftists seemed to believe that if they could just get the presidents returns, they would be able to establish a clear stream of money flowing into Trumps accounts from Russia.
They even had pundits literally making up stories from fake sources in order to try and convince the American people that Trump was ‘absolutely’ in bed with the Russians.
MSNBC’s Laurence O’Donnell, for example, claimed to have a source who told him that Russian Oligarchs had co-signed on Trump’s bank loans in exchange for his undying allegiance to Russia.
This, of course, ultimately turned out to be a blatant fabrication just like every other Trump-Russia story.
Now that the returns have been made public for the world to see those same leftists who claimed this was all they needed to “get” him are playing dumb and refusing to admit they were wrong about Trump and the returns all along.
Unlike the Biden family’s disturbing financial history of taking money from foreign governments, there was nothing tying Trump to the Russians.
Not exactly the ‘smoking gun’ they had hoped for.
Rather than simply admitting to being wrong about this narrative they spent years propagating, the Democrats and their media apparatus are instead pretending like it never happened.

Boy was I wrong. I thought MSNBC dumped Lawrence O’Donnell years ago. Shocked to see his name again, I was not surprised at his content. His position never changed from socialism.

Why shouldn’t he run again? Yes they smeared him so well, that many people fell for it, but I can’t imagine anyone else being as effective and smart in domestic and foreign policy. They knew that in 2016 when shortly after the election results were announced, began their relentless attacks on President Trump, that went on for the next four years, wasting all Americans time. I read they now want the new Congress to “work together with them, and not bother with investigations into their conduct. I am O.K. with putting all the Rats under the microscope and investigating everything they are involved with. The complete lack of integrity regularly displayed by the Swamp Rats, and attempts at deflecting attention on themselves is reason enough to be suspicious. Now a search of Joe’s beach house should happen, might be more doc’s stashed there for six years now.

We had a revolution in this country 200-some-odd years ago over 3per cent taxes. A war in which people were shooting, getting shot, Lossing their lives and property, and over what……3 percent of a dollar! Now our government leaves us with 3 cents of every dollar, and all people do is YAWN! The people who came here were trying to get away from high taxation without representation. Well we have representation and it’s even worse. We are in a historically inflationary position, thanks to the Biden regime, everything is going up in price and still the states want to tax us even more and take away our free speech and the right to defend ourselves. As long as they can pull the wool over people’s eyes, thanks to our sub par educational system and media, they will stop all our natural energy resources to make billions on “green” nonsense, which isn’t green at all. With wind turbines contaminating the earth and sea, as well as the wildlife, they are exposed for who they really are, just con artists making a killing in trillions of dollars to line their pockets while our infrastructure, the electrical grids of the nation are collapsing, along with our roads and bridges and buildings, and sewage pipelines et. cetera. The same idiocy is going on in Europe where people are being forced to go out and cut wood to keep themselves warm or freeze to death. And the media says nothing and government doesn’t give a damn as long as they have the money to live very well.

Trump helped get the vaccine approved in record time, but still gets blamed for the deaths of people from Covid. He closed travel to and from China. Sent ship to N.Y. with doctors, masks, beds, vaccines. Cuomo sent sick people into nursing homes. Most policies from Democrats in N.Y., and then California, have destroyed those states. Along with defund the police. But, as usual, The NYT and Washington Post never talk about it. Shows the corruption. Impeachment 1,2, January 6, Mar Lago Raid, and taxes. You are right Wes, which is why I don’t want to give up on Trump. While he may have been politically incorrect, he was right. He didn’t come in as a seasoned politician, so he made some mistakes with people he thought he could trust. Poor guy, that was a big mistake. But when it came to the people, the country, our resources, his domestic and foreign policies were excellent. If only we could safeguard our elections, then the decent conservatives could clean this country up. But that’s a big IF!
