The nation’s latest inflation report is out and it’s scary. The 9.1% inflation is WAY worse than experts expected. 9.1% is the highest its been since 1981, but that’s not what you’ll hear from Biden.
In a statement from the White House, Biden said, “While today’s headline inflation reading is unacceptably high, it is also out-of-date.”
Interesting twist, isn’t it? He admits inflation is bad, but then blames the system instead of the source. But it’s not the first time the president has shifted blame on the economy.
For over a year, Biden continued to blame Trump and COVID for each economic blunder in the news. This year, he has shifted to a new target, Russian President Vladimir Putin. If only Putin had not invaded Ukraine, Biden pretends oil would be cheap and inflation would be at normal levels.
The only problem is that the facts don’t support the narrative. The nation’s inflation has gone up almost exactly from the day Biden entered office. There’s no one to blame except for himself and his own administration’s policies.
It’s not just Biden, either. The video shows that Nancy Pelosi said, “I think we’re peaking. I think we’re going to be going down from here.” The remarks were obviously a lie. It’s just another example of how Democrats will gaslight the American people so they can stay in power.
