Why I Could Never Be a Democrat

Could you ever be a Democrat?

That’s what Tipping Point host Liz Wheeler wants to know in this clip as she catalogs many of the hypocrisies that define and shape the party of the Left.

For instance, Democrats and the media had a field day back in February 2016 when it took President Trump a little more than 24 hours to disavow an endorsement by former Louisiana State Representative and avowed white supremacist David Duke had given Trump on Duke’s talk radio show.

But when the media broke the major news story about one of the biggest donors and bundlers to the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign — film producer and notorious Lothario Harvey Weinstein — sexually harassing and assaulting women, it took Clinton five days to denounce the Hollywood sleazebag.

Even then, Clinton’s statement was extremely brief and didn’t mention returning any of the movie creep’s money. Could it be because Weinstein had raised more than $1.5 million for her presidential run in 2016? Or might pictures of Clinton with her hands on a smiling Weinstein’s chest have made the former First Lady think twice about making a public statement?

We may never know why Clinton was so reticent (the Obamas were not exactly speedy to respond to the Weinstein news story either), but this is just one case of many that Wheeler details in her report.

Watch, as Wheeler demonstrates why she could never be a Democrat, and why you probably wouldn’t want to be one either!
