While the mainstream media continued to work itself into a lather over the latest Stormy-Putin drivel and the creases on President Trump’s pants (thanks, CNN), important news was still happening in America and around the world. You’d just never realize this if you only watched mainstream media for your news.
For example, did you know that China’s communist leader declared himself “Dictator for Life?” You wouldn’t know this if you got your news from Jeff Bezos’ blog, the Washington Post, which turned this frightening bit of news into a feel-good story about how Xi Jinping abolished term limits in China. Kind of a big difference between “abolishing term limits” and declaring yourself “Dictator for Life,” no?
Meanwhile, 44 Democrats failed to submit a suspected Muslim Brotherhood operative to a background check before they hired him to do all of the IT work for the Democratic caucus in the House of Representatives. The Democrats want you to go through a background check to purchase a box of ammunition, but can’t be bothered to run a Pakistani national through a background check before giving him — and his brothers — access to the most classified documents in Congress. Mainstream media coverage of this story: Giant goose egg — zero!
